Estimates and Inspections
Due to the nature and scope of restoration work, an accurate estimate can only be provided following a detailed inspection of the vehicle. In circumstances where this is not initially possible a more general estimate some of the processes can be given.
We offer a range of inspection and assessment services to determine the current condition of the vehicle and the extent of work required.
Consultation before an estimate
For customers wishing to discuss the suitability or viability of a potential restoration project prior to arranging an inspection, we offer the option to schedule a pre-inspection consultation by phone or email.
This is particularly useful for projects where vehicle condition, previous repair work or long-term storage may influence whether restoration work is appropriate.
Please note that consultations are intended for project discussion only. No quotations or cost estimates will be provided at this stage.
Minor cosmetic inspection and estimate
This is for a pre booked inspection at our site and a brief discussion on what is required. This suits those who have minor bodywork damage, 1-2 panel type work where no costing or sourcing of parts is required.

Detailed inspection of exterior panels of the vehicle
An external inspection of the vehicles bodywork outside at our site at a pre booked time with a detailed estimate forwarded. This is for vehicles that may require parts pricing, various services undertaking and those who have more than 2 panels of damage but not needing a full repaint. Examples include minor collision damage and areas of blistering/defects in paintwork.

Estimate using forwarded pictures
This is for those who due to distance, commitments, factors out of their hands require an estimate through forwarded pictures. This is not always possible from ourselves and each enquiry can only be treated individually.

Comprehensive inspection including fabrication and refinishing requirements.
Full vehicle inspection inside our premises with detailed estimate forwarded. The vehicle may need to be washed on site, dry, bumpers and trims removed. The scope can vary on this depending what is required to give the most accurate estimate.
