Based in Buckinghamshire, near Aylesbury, STR Restohaus Ltd specialises in the restoration and refinishing of classic and modern classic vehicles from with a particular focus on cars from the 1970s/80s/90s.
We are a small team all with a shared passion for the vehicles we grew up with. Our work is driven not just by craftsmanship, but by a genuine appreciation for the cars that have sentimental value and meaning.
From structural welding and fabrication through to full bodywork and OEM-correct paint refinishing, we take pride in turning customer projects into vehicles that can be driven, enjoyed and proudly owned once again.
Honesty and communication are central to everything we do. Each project is approached in an open and transparent manner, ensuring customers are informed and involved throughout the restoration process.
More than anything, we do this because we enjoy it. Seeing vehicles we admired in our youth restored to their former glory — and back on the road where they belong — is what drives every project undertaken at STR Restohaus.
Honesty, transparency, Integrity
At the forefront of our business is honesty. The motor trade has suffered at times over the years through a lack of clarity from both business and customer. From misleading sales pitches to unrealistic expectations, without honesty and transparency at the start a job can turn into a negative experience very quickly.
This is why from the start we will only ever email a written estimate (not quote) with T&C’s attached, we never verbally price anything. Only once the estimate has been agreed in writing and a good relationship built with the customer can we consider undertaking any work.
Everything we estimate is based off an hourly rate and that is how we charge. We will always strive to work within a customers budget but if we feel we can not deliver an end product to not only satisfy them but ourselves we politely decline the opportunity and wish them the best of luck.
